Melanie Schoendorfer makes fresh breakfast sausages just about every day at Babe’s Meat & Counter, a Miami butcher and sandwich shop that, among many other things, produces its own sausages in house. Melanie — who owns and operates Babe’s with her husband Jason — joined us at the tasting table to try and rank five popular frozen breakfast sausages from Banquet (with two varieties of their Brown ‘N Serve sausages), Jimmy Dean, Smithfield, and Jones Dairy Farm.
